UX, Product Design & Illustration

My passion is in the understanding and design of complex systems, deep architecture, and visual representations of these topics. I enjoy taking complex ideas and data and distilling it down to it’s most understandable form.

Collegenet / Apr 2012 - June 2021

Initially hired as a web developer then quickly moved into UX design and project management. Worked to push the importance of UX design and Agile software development methodologies across the company led to gaining more responsibility and the promotion to manager of the UX Team.

Projects over the course of my time there:

  • CRM Redesign (lead UX designer)

    • Working with a group of 5 developers and a mid-level UX designer to redesign a legacy CRM system to better accommodate the needs of the colleges and universities we worked with.

  • Self-Service Application Builder (lead UX designer)

    • Building out a self-service college application form builder from scratch alongside one other designer. We worked to create a smooth experience that could handle the level of logic complexity that college’s require.

  • Coalition Undergraduate Application (project manager/UX designer)

    • Helped build this product from the ground up as one of the lead Product Designers. Fully self-service forms, a large section for applicants to fill in common data, an interface for recommenders and counselors to add and edit documents, and ways for colleges to receive their applicant information.
